Experience you can Trust

Dave has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2003!

After my 20+ years in the construction industry, from carpenter to senior management, I changed careers to real estate sales.

Born in Kalispell, Montana, I grew up throughout the Pacific Northwest. My first experience of Alaska was Ketchikan in 1981 and I fell in Love with SE Alaska. It made such a positive impact on me, I returned to Ketchikan with my bride-to-be, Karen, in 1985. Our family of five moved to the quiet city of Palmer in 1999 and are very happy to call the Mat-Su Valley home.

I love the challenges and opportunities to help my clients realize their goals and dreams. Over 50% of my business consistently comes as a result of being recommended by a past client or friend! That’s how I like to measure success.

On the home front, my wife has a challenging career as a counselor. My daughter teaches in New Mexico and has provided up a precious gift, Baby Masa our first grandchild! My two sons live here in Alaska and are doing well.  We love all the blessings Alaska and its people have to offer — especially in my case, GOLF — and truly believe this is God’s Country.

"Just wanted to post Dave does good work and has been very helpful to myself with multiple purchases and sales. Going the extra mile at times when I needed it. I trust him to be honest with me and give fair unbiased opinions when asked. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a down to earth honest guy and not a fast talking yes man realtor."

"I had a very satisfying experience working with Dave to sell my home. I had only purchased the home 4 years prior and suddenly decided to move back to Oregon after 26 years in Alaska as my fiancé was experiencing medical complications due to a heart transplant 20 years. This was a pretty fast decision and I had a timing issue as I worked for the school district and wanted to stay in my house until school was out so as to not have to deal with finding a place to stay with 2 dogs. I also wanted to leave Alaska as soon as I could. So what that meant was that I wanted to sell the house and be out pretty much within a certain date range. Ha. I had spoken to two other realtors who both valued my home at ten to fifteen thousand less then I wanted to list it for. Dave, on the other hand, was right around the same amount I was thinking if not a little higher. And guess what? He was right! We listed the house earlier then what I had initially planned which turned out to be great advice. I "

"My wife and I put our house on the market in 2006, it was a little late in the season and we didn’t sell. We took it off the market because we didn’t want to move in the middle of the winter and for other considerations. We also didn’t feel that we had been treated like we expected to be treated by the listing agent. When 2007 rolled around my wife and I decided that we would find someone who would listen to our concerns and act accordingly. We called a few different real estate agencies and when we talked to Dave we decided that we liked what we heard on the phone and asked him to come to our house and talk with us face to face so that we could see if he could do what we wanted. After that meeting my wife and I decided that Dave was the person that we wanted to handle the sale of our house. This past summer was not the best time to sell a house but Dave kept pursuing different venues to give our house the exposure needed to sell. Every time that our house was shown Dave would follow u"

"I have purchased and sold (in 3 days!!) my Palmer house using Dave as my realtor. The true test of my satisfaction was to list my house using Dave as my realtor. In the purchase of my house the sellers were not forthright in leaving the advertised appliances in the house & Dave compensated me for that. I thought he went well out of his responsibility and did the right thing. I thought so much of Dave that I referred my fellow worker Paul Cook to find a house in Wasilla and Dave closed the deal. In the future I will refer Dave to all my fellow workers, friends & family."
